The article describes how to monitor application bandwidth utilization.

Scope

FortiGate, FortiOS v7.4.X.

Solution

Select the FortiView Application to view the application that is passing through the FortiGate and able to identify the category of the application, for this example, let's focus on the YouTube application:

Select the clock icon to view the application bytes in 5-minute, 1-hour, or 24-hour time frame:

Select the YouTube icon then it will redirect to the page below that will show us the source IP by selecting the Source tab:

Select the Destination tab will show us the destination IP:

Select the Policies tab will show the firewall policy, source interface, and destination interface that the traffic is passing:
