Description

The maximum number of managed FortiAPs has increased in some FortiGate E models for added wireless capability and scalability. This article describes how to see the maximum number of FortiAPs supported in FortiGate E models.

Solution

The following comparison table shows the maximum number of FortiAPs supported in FortiGate E models:

To view the maximum in the GUI: 

1. Go to Wifi &Switch controller -> Managed FortiAPs.
2. At the right-side of the page, hover over 'Managed'. The new maximum appears in the information window.FortiGate-201 can support a maximum of 128 Managed FortiAPs with v6.2.
