FortiGate is now automatically assigning IP addresses to interfaces using FortiIPAM’s reserved IP ranges feature.
In this context, IP reservations are typically handled automatically by IPAM. Therefore, reserving a specific IP address within IPAM-managed DHCP scopes for asset management manually is not supported in FortiGate. (see the attachment).
This behavior reflects the expected design of FortiGate's IPAM functionality. See the FortiGate 7.6.3 administration guide for more information. |
