Description

This article describes how to take remote access via VNC using an SSL VPN web-based proxy.

Scope

FortiGate.

Solution

Install a VNC server on the destination machine where remote access is desired to.
Upon installing the VNC server on the remote machine, make sure it listens to the VNC connections.
Login to the web-based SSL VPN and navigate to the Quick Connection section.

Select Launch and, if a password has been set on the VNC server, enter the password.
