This article describes how to open the CLI window in the GUI in various firmware.

Solution

In some cases, it is required to run commands in the FortiGate CLI to get the output/information.

The GUI allows running the commands in a CLI window from the dashboard.

Use the following ways to open the CLI window from the dashboard depending on different firmware versions.

Select >_CLI Console or the CLI symbol >_ to open the CLI window in the GUI.
