Solution
In some cases, it is required to run commands in the FortiGate CLI to get the output/information. The GUI allows running the commands in a CLI window from the dashboard.
Use the following ways to open the CLI window from the dashboard depending on different firmware versions. Select >_CLI Console or the CLI symbol >_ to open the CLI window in the GUI.
- For v5.4:
