Solution |
In some scenarios, the FortiGate is the latest version but the information on the Software Lifecycle has not been updated. Login to support.fortinet.com->Asset Management -> Products -> More Views -> Software Lifecycle:
To fix this, make sure the FortiGate is able to connect to FortiGuard servers:
execute ping service.fortiguard.net execute ping update.fortiguard.net execute ping guard.fortinet.net
If the connectivity is good, verify the settings and make sure SDNS settings are configured under FortiGuard settings:
config system fortiguard set sdns-server-ip 208.91.112.220 173.243.140.53 210.7.96.53 end
Once SDNS settings are added, wait for 24 to 48 hours for the information to take effect. After that, the latest information about FortiGate's Firmware will be updated under Software Lifecycle. |
