Technical Tip: How to import mobile FortiTokens when the devices are in HA

Description	This article describes how to import mobile FortiTokens when the devices are in HA.
Scope	FortiGate.
Solution	When the devices are in HA, and if the mobile FortiTokens are activated on one of the devices, which is acting as a slave/ secondary device. In this scenario, an error when trying to import the mobile FortiTokens will appear; the device that FortiTokens should be acting as the primary/ master device to import the mobile FortiTokens. The same will apply if any of the Token is deleted or if there are any errors in FortiToken status, and to reimport the FortiToken, then for whichever device the FortiTokens are mapped, the same device should be acting as primary/ master in HA. To check the FortiTokens status: diagnose fortitoken info To import FortiToken through CLI: execute fortitoken-mobile import xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx <----- xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx is the registration code. To import FortiToken through the GUI. Navigate to User & Authentication -> FortiToken, select 'Create New', select 'Type Mobile Token', and copy the registration code.
