Description

 

This article describes how to separate and export FSSO-CA logs for troubleshooting analysis. 

 

Scope

 

FortiGate, FSSO, FortiAuthenticator.

 

Solution

 

  1. Open agent: Start -> Fortinet -> FSSO Collector Agent (FSSO-CA).

  1. Configuration recommended:

    • Log Level: Debug.
    • Log File Size: 30 -100 Mb.
    • Log logon events in separate logs: Enabled.
    • Select the Apply button.

  2. Export:

    • Select View Log, this log file contains information related to the FSSO-CA application in this server, for example: FortiGate connection, service, DNS query, etc. Save a copy and upload it to Fortinet Ticket. 
    • Select View Logon Events, this log file contains only logs related to logon events, (see related notes for more information) save a copy, and upload it to Fortinet Ticket.
