Description

This article describes how to enable forticlient-on-net-status on the FortiGate interface.

Scope

FortiGate.

Solution

Go under Network-> Interface, choose the desired interface to edit, Toggle the' DHCP Server ' option if not enabled, and make sure ' Security Fabric protocol ' is enabled on the interface as shown below:

Edit the interface gain Toggle the forticlient-on-net-status to enable the feature, and select OK save changes.

config system dhcp server
edit <id>
set forticlient-on-net-status en
end

Note:

The forticlient-on-net-status will not be enabled, If the security fabric option is not enabled on the Interface along with the DHCP server configuration.
