Solution

To enable SAML authentication, it is necessary to enable the SSO feature from the FortiClient settings first.

Select the hamburger menu next to VPN Name and add a new connection or edit the existing one.

Fill in the necessary fields according to requirements.

After, save the settings and note the output below. Selecting connect later will redirect to the SAML authentication page.
