Description

This article describes how to diplay the hostname of the FortiGate device on the login screen.
This could be time and error saving when you manage several FortiGates in the same web browser.

Solution

When the hostname is already set, you can enable the gui-display-hostname feature:

conf system global

set hostname "FGT-FORTIBRO-254"

set gui-display-hostname enable

end

It will change the top banner of the login window as shown below:
