Description

This article describes how to configure the Health check object for the load balancer.

Scope

Any supported version of FortiGate.

Solution

Health check is an important parameter for configuring a virtual server or load balancer. To configure it, follow these steps:

Enable the option in the GUI to turn on the feature under System -> Feature Visibility.

Next, configure the 'Health Check' object which will be visible under the virtual server configuration.
