| Description | This article describes how to check the FortiCare Support is registered inside FortiOS GUI with an example. |

| Solution | After purchasing a new unit or license it is required to validate whether the FortiCare Support is registered or not. Once the license is purchased or renewed and imported into the unit with the FortiCare Support agreement it will show registered in Dashboard -> Status.
If the FortiCare Support is not registered it is required to contact the Fortinet Support even after importing the license properly if the FortiCare Support is not registered the unit does not qualify to get technical support service from Fortinet.
