Scope FortiCloud.
Solution

Following instructions need to be followed to access the Fortinet devices remotely when using a subacccount:

  1. Create a sub-account using the following document: Adding IAM users
  2. Once an IAM user has been created, make a note of the account ID as shown in the photos below: Log in to the FortiGate Cloud, select Services at the top left corner and select IAM (Master account credentials need to be used to log in to IAM for the firm time):

  1. Use the newly created IAM credentials to log in to view or remotely access the devices depending on the permissions assigned to the sub-account: Logging in as an IAM user

Note:

Account-ID of the Master account is always required to login to the sub-account. Sub-accounts need to have the correct permissions profile assigned by the Master account to view or remotely access the assets.
