Technical Tip: Help to allow Box.com when the application is allowed in Application Control

Description	This article describes some tips to review when Box.com is allowed in Application Control but is still blocked
Scope	FortiGate.
Solution	In Webfiltering, the File Sharing and Storage category under Bandwidth Consuming if set to block will prevent box.com from loading. To allow it,  add some exemptions in the Webfilter Profile. The following domains need to be added as wildcards with the action of exempt: *.box.com *.app.box.com *.ent.box.com *.box.net *.boxcdn.net *.boxcloud.com Under Static URL Filter, enable 'URL Filter' if it is not already enabled: Select 'Create New'. In the URL Field, type  *.box.com Set the Type to Wildcard. Set the Action to Exempt. Leave the Status to Enable. Select 'OK'. Repeat this with the remaining domains There will be several box.com or associated domains when completed. Select 'OK' on the Webfilter Profile Page to save it. Ensure this Webfilter Profile is applied to the same policy as the Application Control Profile applied.
