Description

This article describes a known issue where FortiWiFi-40F and FortiWiFi-60F/61F models can experience unexpected reboots/kernel panics or become unresponsive after users connect to the local Wireless SSID.

Scope FortiWiFi (FWF-4xF/6xF models).
Solution

Trigger Conditions: Users are connected to SSID.

 

Take the console and gather the Kernel logs when the issue is happening by following the below document and match with the below kernel panic snippet:

Workaround.

  1. Disable SSID interfaces (The same can be done from GUI under WiFi & Switch Controller -> SSID).
  2. Roll back to previous versions.
