| Solution |
After executing the debug fgfmd and forcing the connection towards the FortiManager, it does not show any output. Run the following commands to identify the fgfmd daemons:
diagnose system process pidof fgfmd
If there is no output, then try to restart the process by executing the command fnsysctl killall fgfmd, then the output should be 'killall: fgfmd: no process killed'.
Then, proceed to reboot the FortiGate, because the fgfmd is not running. After the reboot, check with the following command there is process running 'diagnose system process pidof fgfmd'.
