Solution

FortiGate Cloud-Native Firewall (CNF) has limited support of jumbo frames due to AWS Gateway Load Balancer limitations in the AWS environment.

For details about these limitations, see the AWS documentation here.

Because AWS does not support packet sizes above 8,500 bytes in size, jumbo frames in FortiGate CNF are limited by the same amount.
