Description |
This article describes that after deploying FortiGate Virtual Machine on Azure, it does not show the disk when using Dsv5-series instances such as Ds_v5, D8as_v5, D2as_v5, etc.
When running CLI commands at the FortiGate unit as below:
get system status execute disk list
It does not show any information with CLI commands execute disk list.

Solution |
Upgrade the FortiGate’s firmware version to v7.4.2 build2571 or above following the upgrade path properly.
After upgrading the firmware version to v7.4.2 build2571 or above. Go to FortiGate’s CLI command. Run CLI commands as below to check.
FGTVM # execute disk list Disk Virtual-Disk ref: 16 128.0GiB type: HV [Msft Virtual Disk] dev: /dev/sdb partition ref: 17 125.5GiB, 125.4GiB free mounted: Y label: LOGUSEDXXXX2XDC5 dev: /dev/sdb1 start: 2048 FGTVM #
It will show the disk information after that. |
