Description This article provides an explanation for the FortiGate Cloud status appearing as 'DOWN' in the GUI following a failover event.
Scope FortiGate.
Solution

After a failover event in a FortiGate cluster, the FortiGate Cloud status in the GUI remain in a 'DOWN' state. However, log transmission to FortiCloud continues without interruption.

Use the following CLI command to verify the status:


diagnose fdsm central-mgmt-status

 

Logs are being transmitted to FortiGate Cloud consistently, with no interruptions observed as below:
