Scope | FortiGate. |
Solution |
This issue happens when FortiGate is moved from one region to another, and the user is checking the wrong region on FortiGate Cloud.
In this scenario, the user is checking under the Global region, but the FortiGate was moved from Global to the US region and was upgraded from v7.2.11 to v7.4.8. On FortiGate Cloud under the Global region, it will show the last information before the FortiGate was moved.
To confirm which region FortiGate is in, go to Dashboard -> Status -> FortiGate Cloud:
When checking under the correct region (US) on FortiGate Cloud, it shows the correct firmware version and active management connectivity.
To avoid confusion, deprovision FortiGate from the Global region by selecting the FortiGate -> Actions -> Deprovision.
