| Description | This article describes a known issue with FortiGate 40xF/60xF/90xG/320xF/370xF models, where users are reporting link lights on disconnected Ultra-low latency (ULL) ports. |
| Scope | FortiGate 40xF/60xF/90xG/320xF/370xF |
| Solution |
The known issue#921604 affects the Ultra-low latency ports on the FortiGate models 40xF/60xF/90xG/320xF/370xF.
X5 to X8 are the Ultra-low latency ports in 40xF (400F & 401F), 60xF (600F & 601F) and 90xG (900G & 901G). Port1 to Port4 are the Ultra-low latency ports in 320xF (3200F & 3201F) and 370xF (3700F & 3701F).
These ULL ports uses a specific Marvell chipset, which sometime reports the incorrect status of any of these ULL ports. Consequently, that Ultra-low latency port shows link lights without any connection.
A temporary workaround for this issue is to disable the port then re-enable; however, it is temporary as the issue may return after some time.
This known issue is resolved in FortiOS 7.4.4.
