Technical Tip: Changes in Firewall Policy Search Results Display on FortiOS v7.2, v7.4 and v7.6.0

Description	This article describes the changes in firewall policy search results display when the interface pair view is selected on the GUI in FortiOS versions v7.2, v7.4 and v7.6.0.
Scope	FortiGate v7.2, v7.4, v7.6.0.
Solution	When 'interface pair view' is selected to display the firewall policies on FortiGate devices running FortiOS v7.2.x, the firewall policy search results are automatically displayed in the expanded format. However, on devices running FortiOS v7.4.x and v7.6.0, the firewall policy search results no longer expand automatically when the interface pair view is selected. Instead: • If the policy view was in the expanded format before the search, the results will also appear in the expanded format. • If the view was in the collapsed format before the search, the search results will remain in the collapsed format. Starting from v7.6.1, firewall policy search results are automatically displayed in the expanded format by default.
