When FortiGate is deployed using FortiManager it is expected that FortiGate Cloud does not support logging, and management of the device will not work.
To view the FortiGate device deployed using FortiManager it is necessary to toggle devices under FortiManager Deployed.
There is only a basic/limited view on the device dashboard.
It is expected and by design, FortiGate Cloud does not support this use case. For example: FortiGate management is done by FortiManager, while the logs analytics is done by Fortigate Cloud.
Solution: Use either FortiGate cloud for both the FortiGate’s log and management; or use FortiManager to manage the FortiGate as well as FortiAnalyzer to collect its log. |
