Technical Tip: Error 'Conflicts with the external IP of another VIP' seen when same VIP is configured to multiple internal IPs

Description This article describes of error faced when creating multiple VIPs using the same public IP to multiple internal IPs
Scope FortiGate v6.x.x and v7.x.x.

The error will continue to be seen even after enabling 'port forwarding':
