This article speaks about Encrypting and storing user passwords for SSO enabled SSL-VPN web sessions.

Scope

FortiGate v6.4.9 and later.

FortiGate v7.0.3 and later.

Solution

If the user has any SSO entry in any of the below configurations.

# config vpn ssl web portal

# config vpn ssl web user-bookmark

# config vpn ssl web portal

Then, set encrypt-and-store-password to be enable to encrypt and store the user credentials.

# config vpn ssl setting

set encrypt-and-store-password enable
