Technical Tip: EVPN Route Type supported by FortiOS

Description	This article provides information on route types that are supported by FortiOS.
Scope	FortiGate v7.4 and v7.6 .
Solution	Ethernet VPN (EVPN), a Network Virtualization Overlay (NVO) solution, is used as a control plane protocol with VXLAN / MPLS. FortiOS EVPN implementation is based on RFC 7432 (MPLS Encapsulation) and RFC 8365 (VXLAN, NVGRE and GENEVE Encapsulations). Below is the list of route types supported by FortiOS currently :   FortiOS supports processing Type1/Type4-5 for interoperability with other vendors. These routes will not be installed in FortiGate's BGP table but will be reflected to other vendor devices for compatibility.
