Description

This article describes that for NP7 models like FortiGate-401F/400F, the default only comes with 1 npu_vlink when VDOM is enabled.

Scope

NP7 Model.

Solution

After that the VDOM is enabled, access the global configuration CLI and run:

(global) # config sys npu-vlink

(global) # edit npu0_vlink2 <----- This naming must start with npuXX_vlinkYY

(npu0_vlink2) # end

XX: NPU VDOM link name in format npuX_vlink. X means x-th pair of npu-vlink. Maximum 14 characters.
YY: Any digit to avoid the same name of the interface that is having in the FortiGate.

After the CLI, the npu_vlink created is now available in GUI:
