Description
This article shows one of the recommended actions to do when encountering a warning message such as this:
'Could not communicate with FortiGuard to determine the correct upgrade path for this firmware version'.
Ensure that upgrading to FortiOS v6.4.13 build2019 from FortiOS v6.4.6 build6083 is supported, otherwise, it may result in the loss of configuration.

Ensure that the upgrade path is correct by using the following link: Upgrade Path Tool Table - FortiGate.
In this case, multiple hops are needed according to the upgrade path (v6.4.13 is not selectable in the tool, v6.4.14 is used in its place).
