Scope FortiGate v7.4, v7.6.
Solution

  • Clearing the browser cache.

  • Opening the GUI in incognito mode or using a different browser.

  • Changing the admin access port (admin-sport).

Technical Tip: Fix CLI console from FortiGate GUI

To check on the GUI, refer to this document: FortiGate administrator log in using FortiCloud single sign-on.

It can be verified as below from CLI:

config system global

    set admin-forticloud-sso-login enable/disable

end

When accessing the CLI console using the sso-forticloud-admin account, the following output is displayed:

This issue has been resolved in FortiOS v7.6.4.

Note:

If the administrator does not enter any commands in the CLI console for 3–4 minutes while accessing it through FortiCloud, the console times out and displays 'Connection Lost. Please press Enter to start a new session', which is the expected behavior.
