This article describes a common error seen at startup after upgrade to the newer FortiOS version (after FortiOS 7.0.1).

Solution
The following errors will be seen after an upgrade to FortiOS 7.0.1 and newer.
Fortigate # diagnose debug config-error-log read
>>> "config" "firewall" "policy64" @ root:command parse error (error -61)
>>> "config" "firewall" "policy46" @ root:command parse error (error -61)
>>> "config" "firewall" "policy64" @ SKYLOGIC:command parse error (error -61)
>>> "config" "firewall" "policy46" @ SKYLOGIC:command parse error (error -61)
'# config firewall policy64' and '# config firewall policy46' are only available in FortiOS 6.2.x - 7.0.0.
These commands are used to perform NAT translation between IPv4 and IPv6.
These commands have been removed in FortiOS 7.0.1 and the translation has been simplified by merging their function to firewall policy:
