Technical Tip: Block iCloud download using an Application Signature

Description	This article describes how to block iCloud downloads using an Application Signature.
Scope	FortiGate.
Solution	iCloud is a cloud service operated by Apple Inc. It enables users to store and sync data across devices. To block the cloud download follow the below steps: Navigate to Application Control in the security profiles section, create a new application, and filter override. Search for iCloud and select the iCloud_File.Download the signature and then choose the Action as Block.  Apply the application control profile on the concerned firewall policy. Once it is done, FortiGate will block the iCloud download.
