Technical Tip: Automation stitch configuration for FortiClient VPN connected/disconnected Scope

Description	This article describes how to configure an Automation stitch for FortiClient VPN connected/disconnected
Scope	FortiGate.
Solution	An automation stitch can be configured as follows to get the alert email for Forticlient VPN connected/disconnected. Navigate to Security Fabric -> Automation ->Trigger and select 'Create New'. Provide a name, select Trigger ‘FortiOS Event Log’, and add Event FortiClient VPN connected, FortiClient VPN disconnected. Navigate to Action -> Email and add the concerned email id/s to which the notification has to be sent. Once it is done, navigate to Stitch and create a new stitch: add trigger which was created and action as an Email notification. If any user connects/disconnects the Forticlient the recipient/s will receive the email. Below is the sample:   Note: Ensure an Email server is configured under System -> Advanced.
