| Solution |
The Send files to FortiSandbox for inspection option under Security Profiles -> Antivirus -> Any Antivirus Profile -> APT Protection Options is greyed out if the FortiSandbox setting is also disabled. It is required to activate the FortiSandbox connection by running the commands below:
execute forticloud-sandbox region 0 Europe 1 Global 2 Japan 3 US Please select cloud sandbox region[0-3]:1
It is also possible to enable FortiSandbox from the FortiGate GUI by going to Security Fabric -> Fabric Connectors. Under Security Fabric Connectors, select Sandbox and set status to enable.
There are three options that can be configured on how to send files to FortiSandbox:
If the option for FortiGate Cloud is not available, run below command to enable:
config system global set gui-fortigate-cloud-sandbox enable end
It will then be possible to see the Send files to FortiSandbox for inspection option available as shown below:
