Technical TIp: How to look up IP address information from the Internet Service Database

Description	This article describes how to look up IP address information from Internet Service Database on FortiGate GUI. The result includes the location, coordinates, reputation, and other internet service information.
Scope	FortiGate v7.2.0+ GA releases.
Solution	To lookup IP address Info. From GUI, go to Policy & Objects -> Internet Service Database -> IP Address Lookup. Query about specific IP address and the result is as below. If there is no connection with the FortiGuard server, the IP address information would not be displayed properly. To verify the IP address location using the CLI following command is used: diagnose geoip ip2country <ip-address> and the following command is used to get more information on IP along with co-ordinates: diagnose geoip geoip-query <ip-address>
