FortiController offer two options to back up configuration. This article explains both.
# execute backup config
This command saves the configuration and EXCLUDES the present certificates used for management access to the FortiController. The output will be a human-readable text file.
# execute backup all-config
This command saves the configuration, INCLUDING the certificates used for management access to the FortiController, whether or not certificates are present. The output file will always be encoded.
The default Fortinet_Factory certificate key strength is 1024 bits. Refer to the FortiController CLI Guide for more information. |
