Description This article describes how to troubleshoot the license info not reflecting in the FortiGate dashboard.
Scope FortiGate.
Solution

In case of new device installation or new RMA device, there can be an issue with the device license not reflecting in the GUI as shown below.

To resolve this issue, ensure that the device has internet connectivity & reachable to the FortiGuard server.

 

Collect the info below to validate it.

diagnose debug rating

 

Once FortiGuard connectivity is restored, initiate the update as below. The device license will be reflected in the dashboard.


diagnose debug application update -1
diagnose debug enable
execute update-now


get system fortiguard-service status --> To verify FortiGuard service status.
