Solution |
In case of new device installation or new RMA device, there can be an issue with the device license not reflecting in the GUI as shown below.
To resolve this issue, ensure that the device has internet connectivity & reachable to the FortiGuard server.
Collect the info below to validate it.
exec ping google.com
krypton-kvm34 # exec ping update.fortiguard.net
--- fds1.fortinet.com ping statistics ---
Once FortiGuard connectivity is restored, initiate the update as below. The device license will be reflected in the dashboard.
