Solution |
In case of new device installation or new RMA device, there can be an issue with the device license not reflecting in the GUI as shown below.
To resolve this issue, ensure that the device has internet connectivity & reachable to the FortiGuard server.
Collect the info below to validate it.

Once FortiGuard connectivity is restored, initiate the update as below. The device license will be reflected in the dashboard.
2. In the HA cluster, all the FortiGates have to be registered under the same account. An alternative solution is to use manual licensing for FortiGates in air-gap environments. This feature is only supported for FortiGate models running v7.2.0 or later. Download the license file from the 'license and key' section on FortiCloud and upload it on FortiGate as shown in: Allow manual licensing for FortiGates in air-gap environments
