Description FortiGate-310B and FortiGate-620B LACP configuration
Components
  • FortiGate-310B and FortiGate-620B running FortiOS 3.0 and above
Steps or Commands

You can aggregate (combine) two or more physical interfaces to increase bandwidth and provide some link redundancy.

The FortiGate-310B has two NP2 acceleration processors; four ports for each. When creating hardware acceleration of LACP on the FortiGate-310B, the members of the LACP must be within the same NP2 set. For example, you must select ports 1 to 4 or ports 5 to 8.

Mixing ports, for example port 1 and port 5, will not function as desired.
