Description
This article describes how to insert the SIM card correctly into the SIM slot(s) for the FortiExtender-511F (4G/5G). This model supports a single modem with dual SIM and the supported SIM card is in Micro SIM (3FF) only.

Solution
- Unscrew the SIM slot cover of the box:
- Prepare the Micro SIM (3FF) from the respective ISP provider. The example below is a Nano SIM (4FF) that fits in a Micro SIM adapter.
- Make sure the SIM card metal surface is facing downward.
- Press the SIM card into the desired slot. To remove, the same procedure applies by pressing the SIM card again.
- Make sure the SIM card is sitting completely inside the slot.
- Login via GUI to check and verify the SIM card detection and status.
- The last step is to tighten up the SIM slot cover.
