It is maybe not possible to install FortiEDR or the Collector may stay in a degraded state if the Microsoft KB is not installed on XP and does not have mini filter capabilities enabled.
To know if there are Minifilters enabled, open cmd as administrator and try to run fltmc.
Example:
If the XP devices are missing mini filter (File Manager) capabilities. It can be added by installing KB914882. Microsoft no longer keeps those because XP is not supported by Microsoft, but It can be downloaded from here: https://osdn.net/projects/sfnet_juniperapartmen/downloads/WindowsXP-KB914882-x86-ENU.exe/ |
