Description This article describes how to uninstall a Windows collector using the Manager and add/remove programs.
Scope FortiEDR 5.X.
Solution

Uninstall from the web GUI:


1. Log into your environment URL.
2. Go to Inventory -> Collectors.
3.  In the search bar, search for the collector you want to uninstall.
4. Make Sure the collector is running.
5. Check the checkbox next to the collector name:

6. Click Uninstall:

7. Click Uninstall:

8. The collector will uninstall:

and show uninstalling as the status:

Uninstall from Windows OS:
1. Go to 'Programs and Features' (Open up 'run' and enter 'appwiz.cpl)'
2. Look for 'Fortinet endpoint detection and response platform'.
3. Select it and select uninstall.
4. If prompted, select 'yes' to confirm the uninstallation.

5. If prompted, select 'Yes' at the UA Prompt.

6. It will be prompted to enter the collector registration password.
Note and select the checkbox for 'Remove Configuration Files'.

7. FortiEDR Collector will now uninstall.
