Description

This article describes the process of how to relocate the licenses from one organization to another one.

Scope FortiEDR Central Manager 5.x.
Solution

1) Log into the FortiEDR Central Manager.
2) In the upper left-hand of the Central Manager, select the drop down arrow and change to 'Hoster' View.

3) Go to Administration -> Organizations.
4) Go to the organization to decrease the number of licenses.

5) Select the edit button towards the right side of the row

6) The Organization Details will pop up:

7) Decrease the capacity of the workstations, servers, or IoT devices to the ones that fit the needs and select 'Save'.
8) A pop-up for Threat Hunting Repository will pop up and it is possible to select 'Continue'.

9) Select the 'edit' button on the organization to increase the number of licenses and take note that there are more licenses available (in this case, two licenses are removed from 'vmtest' and it is possible to increase this organization by two licenses).

10) Select 'Save' the license has been relocated to a different organization.

11) A pop-up for Threat Hunting Repository will pop up and it is possible to select 'Continue'.

13) Select 'Save' and the license has been relocated to a different organization.
