This article describes how to locate Advanced Search in Applications under Communication Control. Often, user that navigating the management console is not able to locate the Advanced Search in Applications under the Communication Control function. User always confuse between Advanced Filter vs Advanced Search under the same section.

Solution
Steps:
1) Login management console, go to Communication Control > Applications.
2) Click the arrow in the search bar to open the Advanced Search window.
3) Another SEARCH APPLICATIONS window will pop-up, filter with necessary value to search the application. Example with Action...by...in Policy.
