Description This article describes how to change the system time zone in FortiEDR Manager, Aggregator, Core.
Scope FortiEDR 5.0 and up.
Solution
  1. SSH to the server.
  2. Enter the following command:

sudo su

 

  1. Enter the following command:

fortiedr tzselect

 

  1. A list will appear. Choose the appropriate time zone and press enter.

  1. Change the time zone accordingly.
  2. Enter the following command:

 

fortiedr restart

 

  1. To see the current system time, run the following command

timedatectl


Note: Threat hunting Repository time will not be changed.

 

If the command above does not work, run the following command (New York is used as an example):

 

sudo timedatectl set-timezone America/New_York

 

To list the timezones in America, run the following:

 

ls /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/
