Description This article describes how to update the FortiEDR Collector version in Central Manager.
Scope FortiEDR.
Solution

The FortiEDR Central Manager includes a 'Request Collector Installer' feature to obtain the installer file. Updating the available Collector versions depends on the type of the FortiEDR environment.

There are two main methods:

  • Shared Cloud environment: Open a TAC ticket to request the Collector installer update if the available Collector version is not the latest.
  • MSSP, Dedicated Cloud (2000+ License Seats), and On-Premises environment: Follow the steps below to upload FortiEDR Collector Content file (.NSLO) to the Central Manager.

  1. Log in support.fortinet.com.
  2. Download the Content file (.NSLO) of the latest Collector version from support -> Service Updates page:
