Technical Tip: FortiEDR New Endpoint-Based Licensing Model

Description	This article describes the new licensing model introduced in FortiEDR v6.2.5.x
Scope	FortiEDR Management Console, Licensing, Endpoints, license conversion, license allocation
Solution	Beginning with Manager v6.2.5, FortiEDR introduced an updated licensing model. Previously, licenses were divided between Workstations and Servers. With this new approach, licenses are now counted as a total number of endpoints, regardless of type. This change removes the need to request reallocation of licenses between workstations and servers, simplifying overall license management.
