  • The available plans carry the following commercial terms:
    • 100 seats as entry point with annual subscription cycles for 1-3 years.
    • Subscription fee is billed every month or year by Google depends on the respective setup plan; either way the plan commitment cycle is annual (1-3 years).
    • Purchase increments – True-up/pay-as-you-go model calculated and billed automatically on a monthly basis for any endpoint beyond the initial purchase.
    • The initial 100 seats subscription will be renewed at the end of the subscription cycle with private offering suggested to customers beforehand.
    • Canceling a subscription can be done via disabling auto-renewal option.
    • The onboarding commercial plans as listed above include bundled Best-Practices-Services (aka BPS).
  • The market place enablement backend is deployed on Fortinet managed GCP hosted environment and not the customer GCP project.
  • The plan is not enabled for MSSPs which are granted with their own multi-tenant environment to enable customer onboarding.
  • FortiEDR Google Market place advantages:
  •
    • Technical - Auto-discovery and initial deployment for assets hosted in GCP.
    • Technical - Limited XDR license enabling to digest and correlate GCP-Secure-Command-Center alerts (https://cloud.google.com/security-command-center) with threat hunting hosts activity.
    • Commercial - True-up seat consumption without the need to purchase "fixed" incremental seat bulks.
