Description

This article discusses FortiEDR Collector Support for Windows 10 22H2, Windows 11 22H2, macOS 13 Ventura.

Scope

FortiEDR v5.

Solution

Support for Windows 10 22H2 was added in builds 5.0.3.962 and 5.2.0.2423.

Support for Windows 11 22H2 was added in builds 5.0.3.952 and 5.2.0.2405.

Support for macOS 13 Ventura was added in build 4.1.0.155.

Note:

Full disk access should be authorized twice following the first Collector upgrade or new installation on Ventura OS [FortiEDR internal: EN-81344, Bug ID: 858552]
Until authorization is set, the Collector would be in a degraded state.

Re-authorization is not required when installing via MDM such as JAMF.

This is a result of an Apple bug that is expected to be fixed in Ventura 13.1.

@kwernecke Does this include the different versions of Windows 11?  Such as Windows 11 Education Edition?

Support for Window Collectors is intended to include all sub-versions/variants except for platform specific ones, for example ARM, and or Itanium.
