Description | This article describes new releases for field availability and respective upgrade timelines. |
Scope | Field enablement time frames |
Solution |
Below are the timing related rule of thumb which apply to new releases and upgrade timelines:
1) New released versions always refer to the cloud version release; respective on-prem version tends to be released approximately 8-12 weeks post the cloud release.
2) New released cloud versions will become FTNT go-to version, reapply to new POCs and initiate gradual rollout in approximately 6 weeks post the release.
3) Gradual cloud upgrade process including environments selection under the different upgrade batches and respective timelines are determined by FTNT cloud operations in its sole discretion. The gradual upgrade process for all environments commonly takes up to 10 weeks where customers will receive a courtesy note via ticket at least 72 hours prior to the upgrade. Upgrades will be conducted in the maintenance windows as listed in the product service description. |
