Agent support: Each FortiDLP Agent is supported for 12 months starting from its release. Beyond this period, FortiDLP may enforce an End of Life policy so that older Agent versions will no longer operate. The following table lists the current supported Agents with their release dates and FortiDLP’s end of support dates.

OS-specific support: For operating system (OS) versions fully supported by their vendors, FortiDLP provides guidance and assistance focused on troubleshooting, recommendations for configuration and functionality-related issues, and timely bug fixes and enhancements in new Agent releases. However, when an Agent is running on an OS version that is reaching its end of vendor service, the following will apply. At least one month before an OS version’s end-of-vendor service date, this document will be updated with the last Agent that will support the OS version. Windows version support: The following tables outline the vendor release dates, vendor end-of-service dates, and FortiDLP end-of-support dates for Windows OS versions.
Desktop editions: FortiDLP provides support for Agents on endpoints running the following Windows versions:
For details, see Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 release information. The Agent is compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows. 32-bit versions are not supported.
Server editions: FortiDLP provides support for Agents on endpoints running Windows Server versions until the end of the Windows extended support period. This is normally 10 years from the release date (five years of OS mainstream support followed by five years of OS extended support). FortiDLP does not support OS versions that reach the Windows Extended Security Updates phase. For more detailed information from Microsoft, see Lifecycle FAQ - Windows.
macOS version Support: FortiDLP provides support for Agents on endpoints running major macOS versions for three years from their release date, in line with Apple's de facto maintenance period, which usually lasts 3 years.
Linux version Support: The following tables outline the vendor release dates, vendor end-of-service dates, and FortiDLP’s end-of-support dates for Linux OS versions.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux: FortiDLP provides support for Agents on endpoints running Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions until the end of the Red Hat Full Support Phase, which usually lasts 3 years. For more information, see Red Hat Enterprise Linux Life Cycle.
Ubuntu: FortiDLP provides support for Agents on endpoints running Ubuntu LTS versions and their shipped kernel versions, until the end of the Ubuntu security maintenance period, which is normally 5 years starting from the release date. CentOS: FortiDLP provides support for Agents on endpoints running CentOS versions until the end of the CentOS Active Support period. For more information, see CentOS.
